David Dickinson (Founding Director)

A digital navigation visionary, David is passionate about helping people make meaning from information in the context of their lives. Over two decades he has presented his ideas at international  conferences, including in 2010 at the EU Future Information Societies programme for the European Commission in Brussels. His 2001 publication ‘Towards an androgogy for living in an information society in Teaching and Learning Online:  Pedagogies for New Technologies (Kogan Page) is testament to his years of leadership in information dissemination for the digital era.

 The many organisations that benefit from David’s contribution include the Edward de Bono Foundation UK, The Royal Society of Arts Council, Neurofiles, the trustee board of The Monastery of St Francis and Gorton Trust and, as sole lay member, the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership Digital Collaboration Board. He is SDG3/4 expert – information strategy, on the management team for the World Health Innovation Summit (WHIS – www.worldhealthinnovationsummit.com

Together with David Oliver, David founded Unlike Minds in 2008.
